In Sherlock season 2 Holmes and Dr. Watson are investigating a case of blackmailing which threatens to overthrow the monarchy. They are disentangling the threads leading to the schemes of international terrorists, impudent CIA agents and a plot designed by the top of British government. Sherlock gets involved in an intellectual duel with Irene Adler, a merciless and outstanding player just like him. Sherlock is addressed by Henry Knight for help. 

 

 

As a child he witnessed his father being killer by a monster dog. Ever since then Henry has been suffering from nightmares which are now added by fearful forebodings. Sherlock and Watson leave for Henry's estate in Dartmoor. There is a military base called "Baskerville" not far from his house which happens to carry out top-secret experiments. Holmes' old enemy Jim Moriarty penetrates into London Tower where the jewelry of English crown is displayed, neutralizes the security and shatters the glass case. The police find him sitting on a throne wearing the Royal Crown. In addition Sherlock receives a message from Moriarty. The criminal's going to be tried at court and Sherlock is supposed to testify.
