Hercules
is an American experience film controlled by Brett Ratner and featuring
Dwayne Johnson, Ian Mcshane, Reece Ritchie, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Joseph
Fiennes, and John Hurt. It is focused around the realistic novel
Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Hercules (Dwayne Johnson) is the pioneer of
a band of hired fighters embodying the lance wielding prophet
Amphiaraus (Ian Mcshane), the blade tossing cheat Autolycus (Rufus
Sewell), the wild warrior Tydeus (Aksel Hennie), the Amazon toxophilite
Atalanta (Ingrid Bolsø Berdal) and his nephew storyteller Iolaus (Reece
Ritchie). Hercules is said to be the demigod child of Zeus, who finished
the unbelievable Twelve Labors, just to be sold out by Hera, who made
him crazy and made him kill his wife Megara (Irina Shayk) and their kids
amid a visit to King Eurystheus (Joseph Fiennes). Hercules has since
rejected Zeus and decided to live as mortal, and is tormented by dreams
of Cerberus.
One day, Hercules and his men are
approached by Ergenia (Rebecca Ferguson), for the benefit of her father,
Lord Cotys (John Hurt), who needs Hercules to prepare the armed forces
of Thrace to protect the kingdom from savage warlord Rheseus (Tobias
Santelmann). Hercules acknowledges after he and his men are offered his
weight in gold, and the band is invited to Thrace by King Cotys and
General Sitacles (Peter Mullan), pioneer of the Thracian armed force. In
the wake of preparing the armed force, Hercules and his men lead them
into fight against nearby savages as a test of their quality. After the
savages are crushed, Hercules and Sitacles face Rheseus and his
warriors, accepted to be Centaurs, yet soon turned out to be to be men
on horseback. Rheseus is crushed and taken once again to Thrace as a
detainee, where he is tormented and embarrassed. Perceiving that Ergenia
has taken compassion to him, Hercules goes up against her and figures
out Rheseus was just retaliating against Lord Cotys’ forceful endeavors
to stretch his kingdom, and, despite the fact that Ergenia doesn’t
concur with his routines, she stands to them for the purpose of her
child, Arius, Lord Cotys’ successor to the thron
